Introduction to CTMI
ChamberTrust® Management International (CTMI) was established in the early 2000s, initially as a joint venture between global chamber organisations and their online business service providers.
We now offer a wide range of business development, commercialization, and intellectual property protection tools within a structural framework for individual businesses, Chambers of Commerce and other business-oriented associations, as well as Universities and Research Institutions.
Our unique database partnership with the WCN, an organization representing Chambers of Commerce around the world in online initiatives, includes about 12,500 local and other offices that represent over 40 million business members in 160+ countries.
It includes both non-profit chambers or boards of trade with volunteer business membership as well as the 'public-model' chambers in jurisdictions that include all businesses in their nation. This makes us truly local-to-regional-to-global and enables various custom clusters and agglomerations, whether to serve an individual business client, larger enterprises, NGOs, and/or the public sector.
Double-byte programming and free-form text entries uniquely enable a wide range of combinations to create custom clusters, ranging from partnership and investor searches to commercialization and marketing assistance. It also provides an ideal basis for trade diversification efforts—all within the long-established global trust brand.
CTMI is the hub at the center of several ChamberTrust® spokes...
WCN - World Chambers Network
The WCN (worldchambers.org) was established in 1997 as the official digital backbone for chambers worldwide to help facilitate online commerce in a trusted environment. Chambers of commerce are one of the world’s premiere business brands, whether it is the ‘public chamber model’ in nations where every business in a jurisdiction belongs to a chamber, or the ‘private chamber’ model which operate as a non-profit and with volunteer business membership.
WCN services include the official chamber directory (more than 12,500 entries), GBX business short--term business opportunity listings, separate long term and verified business listings and a chamber international trade documentation service that soon included intellectual property protection for private businesses as well back in 2005. The latest version, CTMI-eVault is described below and it is a great tool for digital provenance and intellectual property protection – a key area in the age of AI.
The extensive technical features mentioned above make the WCN a very powerful tool for trade diversification, often run externally by clients (chambers, business, academia, NGOs and more) on their sites but draw on our servers. Since the WCN is a true local-to-global model that offers fine granularity, permutations and combinations to produce economic clusters or near endless (cluster77.html).
CTMI, in its original format as a joint-venture, took over WCN administration in the early 2000s. More recently, CTMI fully commercialized so that it can address all business, whether chamber member or not, while the WCN continues to serve the chamber community.
CTMI-eVault: A key Spoke for the age of AI
If CTMI.org is the hub, then CTMI-eVault is a prominent spoke—one of our flagship services that, on the one and one hand, has deep roots with decades of experience in IP protection; on the other, its updates make it tailor-made for the age of AI, which demands robust intellectual property protection with auto-notates and distributed ledger receipts as part of the element-of-proof digital provenance chain.
We understand that in the age of rapid innovation, data integrity is the currency of progress. Our commitment is to provide tools that are not only technologically advanced but also institutionally sound, ensuring that every piece of data processed within our ecosystem is backed by a legacy of trust.
